TThis year’s Advent Calendar will be (of course!) inspired by another gorgeous collection of classics -the Cranford Collection. Each will be individually labeled with the name of the classic novel that inspired it, and individually packaged so you’ll have one gorgeous gift of yarn to open for 24 days. These will be arranged in an order that shifts from one colorway into the next. This package does not include a pattern, but we will send a suggested list of available patterns to use with the set.

These colorways will be a surprise! But I’ve included a photo of the books that will inspire them to give you an idea of the feel of this collection. I’m loving the elegant colors of these books. The dyeing process is already underway and this year you can expect gorgeous elevated tonals that work well in complicated stitch patterns as well as simple ones.

This base is perfect for socks! The nylon gives it a bit of extra strength and the superwash wool makes it so easy to care for. You’ll have plenty of yarn for 8-10 pairs of socks, or so many fun advent patterns. Blankets are my favorite way to use these sets, but there are lots of other options too. Great for stripes, colorwork, Beekeeper’s Quilt puffs, the possibilities are endless.

We use colorfast acid dyes and rinse all our yarns our own special woolwash blend to give it a smooth hand, a soothing smell and to help protect it from fiber-eaters.
